The textiles shown here feature two motifs:

Alternating squares of pampa colorblock and nawi motif, which reflect the openness of the high Andean plains contrasted with the details of nature in the mountains/  The nawi design can represent a knot in wood, the eye of a potato, or the eyes of the animals that are a cherished part of a thriving Andean home.

Additionally, the cerros is inspired by the mountains that shape the landscape. Each piece carries the rhythm of the land and the skill of the women artisans who weave it, translating their connection to nature and daily life into every stitch.
